On-Waves operates a dedicated MSC switch to provide the maritime circuit switched service, solely for this service. The Global title Node Addressing is +354 890 0070.
Dedicates SGSN
On-Waves operates a dedicated SGSN node to provide the maritime packet switched service, solely for this service. The Global title Node Addressing is +354 890 0200.
MSRN range
On-Waves uses a dedicated MSRN Roaming number range for the maritime service, solely for this service. The number range is +354 890 9900 to +354 890 9999.
Handset Demarcation –dedicated network code
On-Waves broadcasts a dedicated Network Code for the maritime service on all vessels, to help end-users to identify the service. The broadcast network code is “274-08” translated to ‘On-Waves’ (or ‘IS-08’, depending on the age of the mobile used) and displayed on the end user’s handset.
Dedicated Billing File Identifier
On-Waves uses a dedicated Billing File Identifier or TADIG code to include all billing records in a separate Billing File to be forwarded to the VPMN. The Files Identifier are ‘ISLOC’ and 'AAMOW'.
