With On-Waves, you can now stay connected on board, on the high seas or in air, by using your own mobile phone.
Thanks to our hundreds of Maritime Roaming Agreements, we offer you a GSM and CDMA coverage along with a comprehensive suite of enhanced services on board Cruise Ships & Ferries, Cargo Ships, Offshore Installations, Fishing vessels, Private yachts, Business Aviation jets and remote terrestrial locations.
On-Waves services enable you to place and receive phone calls and send or receive SMS while on board, exactly as if you were on shore.
Additionally, On-Waves exclusive technology allows the usage of all PDA devices, such as Blackberry, iPhone, Android and others. You will be able to download all your e-mails, in real-time and keep in touch with friends and family or keep an eye on your business activity.

For Passengers
On-Waves service is exclusively available for use while the ship is within the range of International waters or in some cases beyond 2 nautical miles from shore.
A Welcome SMS (when permitted by your home carrier) announces the exact moment when you may use your mobile phone through the On-Waves network. You will be within On-Waves network whenever your phone displays IS-08 or ON WAVES.
Call charge rates will be invoiced to you directly on your normal bill through your home carrier.
For Crew members
On-Waves is proud to bring an affordable and tailor-made mobile phone service to seafarers allowing them to place and receive calls and SMS. Cost for the calling party is extremely low (local phone call).
While at sea, you may buy and insert into your own unlocked GSM phone, an On-Wave’s SIM card. SIM cards are available on board or can be delivered upon request. You will get a dedicated phone number to use while at sea for sending & receiving calls and SMS.
Once your credit is nearly expired, you will receive a message.
You may top-up and reload your SIM card by purchasing a Top-Up card on board.
